Free 3-Day Challenge · For Licensed Agents
Your client has a tax problem. Their CPA files it, nobody plans around it, and the conversation that could have been yours happens somewhere else — or doesn't happen at all.
Three sessions across three days. Not a product training, not a licensing course: the specific conversation that gets a business owner to sit down, and where your recommendation fits once they have. No contract change. No cost.

Why a tax conversation opens doors a coverage conversation cannot. The exact first question, and what to do with each of the three answers you will actually get.
How to recognize real tax exposure from what a client will tell you in the first ten minutes, which documents actually matter, and when the honest answer is โthis isn't a fit.โ
Where this lands in the book you already have, how the handoff to a CPA works in practice, and what your first five conversations should sound like.

What Three Days Changes
The Tax Strategy 3-Day Challenge is not a product training, not a licensing course, and not a recruiting event with a workbook. It's three sessions on the half of the conversation most agents were never shown: the client's tax exposure, who is actually planning around it, and why naming it first changes the size and the seriousness of everything that follows.
It's called a challenge because that's the honest word for it. Three days is enough to decide whether this belongs in your business. It is not enough to make you a tax expert — and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
Claim My Spot →Why This Challenge Exists
This is not a gap in your ability. It's a gap in what anyone ever put in front of you. Carrier training teaches you what a policy does. It does not teach you what a client's tax exposure looks like, or how to be the first person to name it.
Every carrier course you have ever taken explains a contract. None of them explain the thing that keeps a business owner up at night. So you open where you were trained to open, and you get the meeting that opening earns.
The business owners and high earners you wrote small cases for years ago have a second problem nobody has asked them about. Testing this does not require a single new lead.
When your recommendation gets routed to a second opinion, the recommendation usually wasn't the issue. You weren't the one framing the whole picture, so somebody else got to.
You do not have to reorganize your practice to know whether this fits how you work. Sit through three sessions, decide honestly, and go from there. That is the whole ask.
The Shift
Nothing about your licensing, your contracts, or your carriers has to change for this to change. What changes is the sentence you lead with.
You ask what they have in place. In one question you have told them exactly what kind of meeting this is, and they file you with every other agent who has ever asked it. The case gets sized to the product, and the decision gets handed to whoever they trust more than you.
You ask about the exposure they already know they have and nobody has planned around. Now you are not a second opinion on a policy — you are the first person who looked at the whole picture. The insurance conversation still happens. It happens later, larger, and with you framing it.
That is the entire premise of the three days. Not a new product and not a new contract — a different opening question, and enough technical grounding to hold the conversation it starts. Day 1 begins with exactly how that question gets asked.

The Three Days
Open with tax instead of coverage — the specific first question, and what to do with each of the answers you will actually get
Recognize real tax exposure from what a client tells you in the first ten minutes, without asking for a tax return on day one
Know where insurance fits in a tax conversation, so the recommendation arrives as a conclusion instead of a pitch
Know where your lane ends — what a licensed agent can say, what belongs to a CPA, and how the handoff works in practice
Reopen the people who already said no with a reason to talk that has nothing to do with what they turned down
Decide honestly whether this fits your practice — including what it would take, and who it is genuinely not for

Founder, Valoram Solutions · Financial Services Professional
Alvin Ubaldo is a proud American immigrant from the Philippines with over 15 years in the financial services industry. A husband and father of three sons, he entered this business the same way most agents do — he was recruited. Someone put a hand out and pulled him up, and he has been open about the fact that he would not be in this industry otherwise.
Over the course of his career he has personally recruited, trained, and led thousands of agents, and sat in tens of thousands of sales conversations. What he found is that the ceiling most agents hit has nothing to do with effort or talent — it's that they were handed the same products and the same script as everyone else and told to go compete.
Today Alvin leads Valoram Solutions with a tax-advisory-first model, working alongside CPAs and tax specialists. A devoted Christian who holds integrity and transparency as the cornerstones of lasting trust, he teaches this material openly — including to agents who have no intention of ever joining his organization.
